What is Baptism?
Baptism is one of the two sacraments of the Lutheran church. Through water and the Word, God claims us as His own - washing away sin and uniting us with Christ's death and resurrection. It is a gift of grace, freely given, that marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith.
At Community Lutheran Church, we welcome people of all ages to the waters of baptism - from infants and young children to adults who are coming to faith for the first time. If you have questions about baptism or would like to explore what it means for you or your family, we would love to walk alongside you.
