EVENTS

Events such as All God’s Daughters Tea, Spring Gathering, 1 day Retreat, Bible Studies throughout the year, or coming together for Girls’ night out to a movie, a painting event, or dinner.  There is surely going to be some laughter involved and possibly a dessert.

SUNSHINE MINISTRY

Our Sunshine Ministry sends out cards and notes to those who are ill or have recently lost a loved one.  On average, Ms. Sunshine sends out approximately 300 cards and notes each year.  We can always use sympathy & get-well cards, as well as stamps.

OUTREACH AND MINISTRY

Enjoy fun events throughout the year that help support our home church, our local community, and the world.  From playing Barn Yard Bingo which helps to purchase farm animals for ELCA World Hunger and ELCA Good Gift, to the Bake & Craft Sales that support CLC. Or something as simple as saving up your soda tabs for the local Ronald McDonald House.  These are just a few activities that you can be involved with that serve God.

Women's Ministry Online Bible Study

Learn spiritual growth practices for your daily life that remove your own anxious striving and center you on the One who was never worried about a thing.

As you study Proverbs 3:5-6, you’ll explore spiritual practices that will help you release your worries and striving and walk with more trust and peace in the Lord.

Join us for a seven-session Bible study (video access included) on exchanging self-reliance for the trusting and relaxed posture modeled to us by Jesus.
We begin June 16 and end July 28, 2026.

We “meet” on your personal computer/tablet/phone. You log in to Zoom with the link emailed by Shirley. Lessons begin at 6:30 pm each week. Please text the study leader Shirley Lizotte 702-378-5645 to let her know that you are participating in the study.

The “Relaxed” Study Guide is available on Amazon $13.99 paperback and Faithgateway $15.99 The guide includes the online streaming video links – 7 teaching videos, printable Bible study tools, a “Walking with God” worship playlist, a vibrant online community to support your journey.
